What is different between the Dirt Lock pad washer and traditional pad washer systems?

Most detailers have stayed away from traditional pad washers because of 4 main reasons;

1. They require your expensive machine polisher to be exposed to water. This can lead to internal bearings rusting out, risk of electric shock and shorting out the wiring system.
2. You are spinning a delicate foam, microfiber or wool pad at high RPM’s on a hard, slotted and eventually frayed piece of plastic. This dramatically increases how quickly the pad will wear down/tear apart.
3. They are overly expensive.
4. They make a huge mess.

The Dirt Lock Pad Washer attachment will quickly and safely clean your polishing pad within seconds and does not require any external machine or power to operate. It’s also extremely affordable, simple to use and does not make a mess. Simply insert the pad washer attachment into your Dirt Lock bucket filter and fill with water. Attach your dirty polishing pads on the hook and loop handle and spray with our pad cleaner solution. Lastly, pump the polishing pads on our Dirt Lock pad washer attachment and it will shoot a heavy stream of clean water into the pad. Once you bottom out, all the chemicals are squeezed out and sucked underneath the Dirt Lock bucket filter in one swift motion. This process happens several times per second, leaving you with a perfectly cleaned polishing pad within a few moments. This process is extremely gentle and thorough on the polishing pad and it mimics a proper hand wash, but at a much quicker pace.
