Winter is upon us and while we all do not look forward to cleaning snow off our cars, we wanted to ask you the readers how exactly you clean snow off of your vehicles. Leave your comments below! There is another highly non recommended option, you could just leave the snow on your car and drive like this guy in this article on Jalopnik.com.
Have you ever wondered what a 1000hp Hennessey Performance HPE1000 Supercharged C7 Corvette Stingray would sound like? Well today is your lucky day. Check out the video below from popularmechanics.com
jalopnik.com has a great article reviewing the BMW 340i. Did you know it comes equipped with three pedals!?
Thanks for reading and if you like this article check out the Detailing Enthusiasts Monthly January Edition!
The car covered in snow particularly hit home for me… in the spring of 1960, my Mom bought herself a pre owned 1956 Dodge Coronet convertible. It was red and white with the push button transmission, very low mileage and power everything. I was 7 years old at the time and I loved that car. I used to help wash and wax it (perhaps my intro to detailing?) One day, she had to park it on the street one day while we were out shoveling the driveway when someone in an old Mercury, who’s driver only had a small area of the windshield cleared smashed into it. totaling both the Mercury and Mom’s car. My Mom was heartbroken, as she loved that car as much as I did. That was a bad year for us… we had a house fire that same month (12-23-1960)!
For snow removal, I have 2 Sno-Brums to clear the snow off of my vehicles… one in my daily driver (my 2009 F150 Supercab 4×4) the other in the spousal transportation device (a 2014 Ford Edge SEL AWD). I love the Sno- Brum, as it removes snow without scratching.
Thanks for sharing your story Ron. Unfortunately there are people that don’t clean their cars after a storm and it really isn’t safe.
We have heard good things about the Sno-Brum too and it could be a product we pick up in the future.
