I believe showcasing this video on this forum is important because of what it communicates to others about me and themselves. It is a personal reminder of who I am to get to the place that I currently am at. But I also believe this will inspire others. I can hope.
This project was originally talked about in an inquiry 6 months prior to this detail taking place. Other important events ultimately took place preventing my future client from booking a detail. She had to deal with certain matters that compromised her desire to get the car detailed. It is not totally unusual for an inquiry not to be heard from. But she reached out to months later communicating that her desire for me to detail her car had not changed.
At the time my non mobile details took place in the city parking garage. This detail that took place a few years ago would be my last formal detail in this environment. The client who lived 50 miles away in an environment which I could not detail, traveled to me. Although she also lived in a major city, this was the best alternative ironically. It would not be the most elaborate restorative service; one stage correction with paint sealant, engine bay detail, and an interior detail.
After we booked, which was the first 10 minutes, we spoke for what turned into 45 minutes. She immediately asked me what was my favorite car that she detailed. This was the inspiration for my first detailing Vlog, separate from this video.
