My dashboard was incredibly dirty and a good cleaning was long overdue. With me driving my vehicle literally every day, it has accumulated quite a bit of dust so I thought it was about time to get to it! With so many interior detailers on the market, it can be hard to choose which one is the best for you, so I decided to compare 3 of the most popular products from different brands. I wanted to compare the P&S XPRESS Interior Cleaner, the Nextzett Cockpit Premium, and the Gyeon Interior Detailer to see which one I liked the most.
You can see just how dirty my dashboard was in the picture below.
To start off my comparisons, I went and sectioned my dashboard into 3 evenly-ish spaced sections using masking tape. Next, a followed the directions that are on the bottle of the P&S XPRESS Interior Cleaner and I got to scrubbing with a microfiber towel. Please note that I didn’t dilute this product, I simply just sprayed it on. After scrubbing I wiped the extra product away with a separate damp microfiber towel. Here are some pictures of that process and what it looked like when I was done using the first product.
I followed this up with the Nextzett Cockpit Premium on the next section. The Cockpit Premium is a slightly easier product to use than the P&S XPRESS Interior Cleaner since there is no scrubbing. You can just spray on and wipe off. Nextzett does recommend repeating the application for this product to ensure you get an even coat of UV protection. Here are some pictures of this step.
Last but not least, I applied the Gyeon Interior Detailer on the last section of my dashboard. This product is also very easy to use, simply spray and wipe off. The pictures of this process are below.
The Verdict
Before I pick the product I liked most for cleaning my dashboard, I first have to say that all of these products are great. They are all very reliable and you will be getting your bang for every buck. With that being said, my choice for an interior cleaner would go to Nextzett Cockpit Premium! I personally thought that Gyeon Interior Detailer was better at cleaning my dashboard, but I would still go with the Cockpit Premium because of the UV protection that it provides. It also leaves behind a citrus scent that I find pleasant. The P&S XPRESS Interior Cleaner worked really well too, but in my opinion, it falls short in comparison to the other products that I tested. It works great as a maintenance cleaner but I wanted something to give me some protection.
Out of 3 three items that I chose to use, which one is your favorite? Do you have any interior detailers that you like more than these three? Thank you for reading and have a great rest of your day!
